Welcome
to the Stirling Enterprise website
During the
early 1980's, Imperial Tobacco Ltd. gifted the John Player Factory and surrounding land to
Stirling Enterprise (STEP) including £400,000 working capital to assist in the conversion
of the building into modern workspace and office accommodation. Since 1984 STEP has
fulfilled a vital role in providing local businesses with an easily accessible single
point of contact for all types of business advice, support, training, property, plus
sources of funding and grant availability.
We are extremely proud of the success of STEP and our
achievements in assisting local businesses to contribute to the economic success of the area.
We look confidently to the future in retaining STEP's position as one of
the leading Enterprise
Trusts in Scotland through helping Stirling area businesses and people fulfil their maximum
potential.
We acknowledge the financial support we
have received from the European
Community through the European Regional Development Fund and the
European Social Fund.
Stirling Enterprise is funded by: government agencies,
shareholder businesses and Stirling Enterprise itself, to actively encourage and support
new and existing businesses and enterprise in the Forth Valley area, through delivering a
comprehensive range of services.
