STEP recognises that business and communities in rural areas including agriculture-based businesses, can have differing needs to those in urban areas. Our services therefore reflect this, and STEP is active in taking programmes and support to the rural communities through a dedicated rural support officer with access to STEP Business Advisers.

STEP can host information sessions in rural communities and will arrange visits, road-shows and training sessions at regular intervals. If you would like a visit or wish to participate in business related training, including Information Technology, please let us know. Events will also be advertised by posted leaflets and the local media. 

Support is available through the Business Gateway Service and serves pre-start, early-start and existing businesses.
